How to import .pdf into Goodnotes/Noteshelf/Notability/Penly/Etc?

Instructions on how to import you .pdf planners/notebooks/etc into your preferred note taking app.

Genearally, there is a ‘New..’ button, sometimes a ‘+’ sign, that you can tap that will then give you an option to import a file/pdf. Below is written individual instructions per app with links to their support site.

  • In the documents view click the ‘New…’ icon that looks like a large plus button
  • Click Import
  • Select your file

  • In your Library press and hold +New
  • Select Import
  • Choose your file to import

  • Click the blue plus button in the lower right
  • Click import
  • Select your File

Open Noteshelf and tap on the ‘+’

Select ‘Import Document’ and select your PDF from your files.
